The Importance of Home Staging
Home staging is the process of organizing your home to make it more appealing to potential buyers. I believe strongly in the art of home staging and I offer it on every home that I sell.
I work closely with a professional home stager to prepare your home for sale. I believe hiring and working closely with a home stager adds tremendous value to the services I offer as a Realtor.
The process of home staging begins with a tour of your home. We look around for areas that have too much clutter that can easily be put away. When potential homebuyers visit your home it is best to have few personal items in sight. When your home is free from clutter, buyers can envision their own belongings in the home.
The next step is to look for repairs that can are easy to do. The stager might suggest that you paint a room to freshen it up, remove a torn carpet or rearrange furniture. The suggestions are meant to make your home more visually appealing to a potential buyer.
If your home needs more significant repairs, the home stager will make these recommendations as well. If your yard is full of debris, we will ask that the yard be cleaned up. If you have a neighbor that has an unsightly property, we might suggest a fence to block the property from view.
When potential homebuyers come to see your property, you want it to be neat, clean and free from needing any obvious repairs. By working with a certified home stager, I ensure that your home will be as ready as it can be. Your home will spend less time on the market and you will get a higher price for your property if your home is properly staged.
