Spotlight on Calgary
Calgary is a great place to both work and play. The economy here in Calgary is strong and there are plenty of jobs to go around. The activities planned throughout the year for families are some of the best in the country. This summer I'm looking forward to the annual Calgary Stampede. The show is open this season from July 4-July 13, 2014. With rodeos, contests, rides, food, concerts and more, this is one party you don't want to miss. My husband and I love taking my two kids to the stampede and we can't wait to take them again this summer.
I enjoy working as a Realtor in Calgary because this is a growing city with many hardworking, kind people. I find the area full of people who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done right. I believe in the power of hard work and I pride myself in my work ethic. I know that I belong right here in this city.
Many people who work in Calgary are business owners. Whether retail stores, restaurants or other service industries, business is booming in Calgary. We have been voted the most entrepreneurial city three years in a row.
With our strong economy, the unemployment rate is less than 3% and this rate is one of the lowest in the country. We are close to the mountains, which has created many jobs from the oil and natural gas industries. People who live here enjoy a comfortable standard of living.
I'd say that Calgary is a city of opportunity. If you have always wanted to own a business, you have a high chance of success here. When you are looking for a place to call home,Calgary is a wonderful place to start your search.
